Self-Paced Programs

Self-paced tools for couples who want to be intentional about their relationship, without waiting for something to go wrong.

The work I do in sessions is focused, individual, and responsive to what each couple actually needs. But there is a whole layer of foundational relationship work that does not require a therapist in the room.

These resources are for couples who want to do that work on their own terms, at their own pace, with structure and clinical grounding behind them.

About Beth

Hi, I’m Beth.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist based in the Bay Area. I’ve spent years working with couples, some in crisis, some building something strong from the start, and what I’ve seen over and over is that the couples who do best aren’t the ones who had the easiest path. They’re the ones who showed up intentionally.

I built this workshop because most premarital resources are either too clinical, too religious, or too thin to be genuinely useful. I wanted to create something that felt like sitting down with a thoughtful friend who happened to have a deep clinical background, something practical, warm, and actually worth your time.

The frameworks in this workshop draw on Gottman Method Couples Therapy (I’m a Level 3 clinician, currently pursuing certification), Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. But you don’t need a background in any of that to use this. You just need to show up for each other.

Before We Say "I Do"
A self-paced premarital workshop for couples who want more than a checklist, and a stronger foundation than love alone.

$197 | Self-paced | Lifetime access

Most couples spend more time planning their wedding than preparing for their marriage.

That’s not a criticism. There’s a lot to plan, and it’s exciting, and it’s easy to assume that because you love each other, the rest will fall into place.

But the couples who struggle most in their first years of marriage aren’t the ones who loved each other less. They’re the ones who didn’t understand how each other actually worked. Who hadn’t had the important conversations before they became urgent. Who didn’t have tools for the hard moments until they were already in them.

This workshop is for couples who want to start differently.

Before We Say “I Do” is a six-module premarital workshop built by a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Not therapy. Not a generic online course. A structured, research-backed experience that gives you real tools, real conversations, and a real understanding of each other, before the wedding.

It’s self-paced, so you move through it on your own schedule. But it’s designed to be done together, as a shared investment in the marriage you’re building.

By the time you finish, you’ll have:

  • A shared vocabulary for how each of you connects and what each of you needs

  • Language for the patterns that pull couples apart, and tools to interrupt them

  • A structure for the hard conversations, so they don’t go sideways

  • Clarity on the topics that actually shape a marriage, money, family, intimacy, values, lifestyle

  • Habits and rituals to keep you close as life gets full

  • A clearer picture of the marriage you want to build, together
