Fees & Insurance
1
What are your rates?
My fees reflect my training, experience, and the typical rates for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in California. I’m happy to go over the details during a consultation and answer any questions about cost, budgeting, or out-of-network benefits.

I have a limited number of sliding-scale spots available for those who need financial flexibility. Please let me know if this is something you would like to explore.
2
Do you take insurance?
I don’t bill insurance directly, but many of my clients receive partial reimbursement from their insurance companies or use HSA/FSA funds to cover costs. I’m partner with Mentaya to support the reimbursement process (more on that below!) and am happy to provide a monthly superbill for this purpose.

What will my insurance reimburse for my therapy sessions?
Some clients receive significant reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Use this quick benefits checker to see what your plan offers: mentaya.co/b/16DNVy7pctYdzwFyXKoz

Do you help with out-of-network insurance reimbursement?
I partner with a service called Mentaya that can makes out-of-network reimbursement much easier. For a 5% fee per claim Mentaya will take care of all of the paperwork, communication with insurance, and managing any denials. If a claim is not successfully submitted, they refund their fee.
Current clients can sign up for Mentaya here: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/16DNVy7pctYdzwFyXKoz
5
How will I pay for my sessions?
A credit, debit, or HSA/FSA card will be kept securely on file and charged after each session.
6
How often will we meet?
All of my clients to begin with at least one 50-minute session per week. Therapy is an investment of your time and resources. Consistency is the key to getting the most out of this investment.
7
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours notice. For late cancellations or missed appointments, the full session fee will be charged even in the case of illness or emergency. I reserve this time specifically for you and appreciate your understanding.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care. This is especially relevant for clients who are uninsured or not using insurance benefits. You can request a written estimate at any time. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
